CaMaRose Candy Mitten Pattern

CANDY MITTENS are classic and simple mittens for the whole family. The pattern includes 4 children's sizes, women's and men's sizes.

The mittens are worked in the round on dpns, and have a simple and classic 2, 2 rib. The hand is worked in stockinette stitch, and to give the mitten a good fit, increases for a thumb gusset is made. The mittens can be worked with stripes or in unicolour.

Sizes:  2-3 years (4-5 years) 6-7 years (8-9 years) Women (Men).

Length: Approx. 10.5 (13.5) 15 (16.5) 18 (19.5) cm.

Suggested needle size: 4.5 mm double-pointed or circular needles.

Yarn for Striped Mittens: 2 (2) 2 (2) 2 (2) skeins Lamauld in total (1 skein in each colour). 

Yarn for Unicolour Mittens: 1 (1) 1 (1) 2 (2) skein(s) of Lamauld

Furthermore, you will need: 1 tapestry needle, stitch markers (or scrap yarn), and, if needed, a row counter to keep track of the rounds.

Gauge: Approx. 19 sts x 26 rounds on 4.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
