About the Event

In this 4 part introduction to knitting, Casey will take you through the basics of knitting while making 2 projects: a pair of fingerless mitts and a hat. Along the way, you'll learn how to get your first stitches on the needle, how to knit, purl, work increases and decreases, how to knit in the round, casting off and finishing your project. There will also be troubleshooting tips and a chance to explore two different knitting styles, Continental and English, and decide which one you prefer!

All materials for the projects are provided and for you to keep (over £35 retail value):

1x 5mm Chiaogoo circular needle

1x Set 5mm KnitPro DPNs

3x 50g balls of Fyberspates Tarma aran weight yarn (Your choice of colour, we'll contact you about this)

1x Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends

10x Stitch markers

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. This class is 4 sessions over 5 weeks, please refer to the schedule for more info.
